Jane’s Sewing Service is a small business which specialises in making bespoke curtains, blinds and soft furnishings to customers individual requirements.

We can visit your home to measure and then provide a free written quotation.

We have a selection of fabric books from Prestigious Textiles, Clarke & Clarke, Biggie Best, Kestrel Lister, J Brown & Chatham Glyn that we can bring to your home and which clients are welcome to borrow.  We can also source fabrics from most other fabric companies.

In addition to making soft furnishings and supplying fabrics, poles and tracks, we can also supply linings, trimmings and cushion pads.

You may wish to re-use window treatments you already have.  We can reduce width or length in curtains or blinds, change headings, increase width or length using contrast or co-ordinating fabrics, add new or replace existing linings or interlinings, add contrasting or co-ordinating tiebacks, pelmets or valances.  Or perhaps turn a curtain into a blind.
